How do regional servers reduce casino API latency?

Why region placement matters

Every hop between a player device, your operator stack, MegaNodes, and a studio adds milliseconds. Live dealers and fast slots amplify small delays into visible lag. Placing API and launch infrastructure near players is the highest-leverage latency fix you control.

MegaNodes regions

MegaNodes operates regional nodes in kr (Seoul / Asia Pacific), de (Frankfurt / Europe), and ca (Toronto / Americas).

Visitors on this site can switch regions; production agents are provisioned for the regions they serve. Game catalogues can differ by region, so always sync against the region you launch in — see Games.

What improves (and what does not)

Regional nodes shorten the path for launch URLs, wallet callbacks (especially Seamless), and lobby catalogue fetches. They do not rewrite physics for a studio whose own live pit is on another continent — but they remove avoidable aggregator RTT.

Combine geo placement with lean payloads, keep-alives, and sensible client timeouts. Document expected SLAs in your runbooks using Swagger examples and the PDF guide.

Wallet models and latency

Seamless is more sensitive to your endpoint RTT because every bet/win waits on your wallet. Host those endpoints close to the MegaNodes region you use. Transfer concentrates money movement at session edges, which can reduce mid-round chatter. Compare models on wallet models.
